About Us
Dr. Omar Shariff
A Louisville area native, Dr. Shariff completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University. He then earned a Masters in Public Health before attending dental school at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Shariff began his career as an associate dentist before opening the Center for Advanced Dentistry. He holds professional memberships in:
- American Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
- Kentucky Dental Association
- Louisville Dental Society
- Prospect Area Chamber of Commerce
Dr. Shariff is committed to providing the most comprehensive care possible. He participates in extensive continuing education courses, exceeding the state licensing board's requirements. Since graduating, Dr. Shariff has completed courses in implant placement, implant restorations, endodontics, conscious sedation, orthodontics, and many other areas of general and cosmetic dentistry. He places our patients' wellbeing above all and is always available for consultation.
Dr. Shariff enjoys walking and jogging with his wife.
Erin
Erin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Indiana University in 2006. She recently earned her Master’s Degree in Biology at University of Louisville and is now a Dental Student at University of Louisville School of Dentistry. We look forward to Erin joining the practice after school.
Shari, Office Manager and Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Shari has been working closely with patients in the dental profession now for seven years. Her job is to work with Dr. Shariff to make sure that every patients’ total dental experience is as comfortable as possible. Shari has her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, radiation, and coronal polishing certifications from the University of Louisville. Shari has a young daughter, and a husband who encourage all aspects of her career. She enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
